Hello everyone!
It's been a while since the last time I blogged. I've been in a rut lately regarding colleges and discretion. Thankfully, my spring break begins now! Starting today, I am determined to blog quite a bit before the swarm of AP tests hit me.
On the third day, we decided to visit Twin Peaks. If you haven't gone to Twin Peaks, you have not seen San Francisco. It is gorgeous. Let us gape in awe from the glory of the city:

If this isn't beautiful to you, I don't know what is. My family spent a good hour taking pictures; eventually, my brother and I got hungry so we drove into the city.

Parking in San Francisco is a NIGHTMARE. I forgot how much my family hated parking in this city. At least the hills were fun. : )
We finally found a parking spot and maneuvered our way to Fisherman's Wharf. I was really eager to try the sour dough bread bowl filled with clam chowder. I also got curly fries and calamari (calamari and chips).
Now if you are a bread lover ( I am too, don't worry), please do not take this the wrong way when I say "I do not like sour dough." I just never saw the appeal to sour dough. That is, not until I took a bite of the sour dough bread with the clam chowder. The two complement each other so well. Just thinking about it makes my mouth drool. It's not "classy" food, but hey, we all need those heart attack inducing foods right?
We were surrounded by seagulls and man, are they aggressive! They kept closing in on us, waiting for us to drop some food. Seagulls, I tell you, are mean creatures.

I bought some saltwater taffy for my friends from a big candy store (forgot the name though) and spent the rest of the day in Chinatown. We stopped and ate at Hunan Home's Restaurant. It was a bit cramped in my opinion and I was not a fan of the dim lights. However, I was impressed with the staff. A man came up to check on us to see if we were enjoying our meal and even suggested us to suck on chili peppers to really get a smoky flavor. If you like good service, this is a good place. Definitely check out the place if you have time.
We finally spent our last day at Muir Woods National Monument. This place was intense. Near the beginning of the hike, a tree almost fell on my brother and me. I heard a crack and it came crashing down so I dodged before my head could register that it was a tree.
Sorry about the tree spam, but it needs to be done.

Okay, I lied. Before we hit the road back home, we stopped by a Japanese garden in Hayward.

And that concludes my trip! I adore northern California and would love to come back again in the future.
Thank you so much for bearing with me through this heavy post!
I will see you guys very soon. : )
Theresa
