REVIEW: L'OREAL Colour Riche le Gloss Golden Splash 159

Since I am very picky with my pinks, I find myself gravitating toward the same shades. As I was browsing around Target, I came across lip glosses. Normally, I usually avoid lip gloss since it makes my lips seem swollen and too full for my taste but I was so attracted to L'Oreal's Colour Riche le Gloss in Golden Splash 159 that I bought it right away.

 The camera does not do the gloss justice since there is a golden tint of shine in the pink. It is a glamorous color with a touch of femininity.

SCENT: 4.7/5
The smell is not overpowering and slightly sweet.

COLOR: 5/5
You probably know how much I adore this color. The shade is just so pretty, how could I not love it? It gives a subtle sheen to your lips and is something I think that is universally flattering. (However, if you have very pigmented lips, the color may not show up as well as they do on mine so use a concealer or wear a nude lip to bring out the pink.)

TASTE: 4.5/5
I was not aware lip products had a flavor and I do not think this product has a flavor either (Or maybe my taste buds are insensitive.) The taste is not unpleasant and is not something I care much for unless it tastes awful. So no, the taste is not prominent and is almost absent, similar to the smell.

Overall:4.7/5
I may be biased because this is the first lip product I have ever bought but I am satisfied with the product. It did not dry my lips and they stayed glossy for a good few hours (but I recommend not eating with it on for a while). Do keep in mind that everyone is different so my experience may be different than yours.
