REVIEW: COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss Peaches & Cream 125

Hi guys!

I hope everyone's Valentine's Day was stellar. Whether you have a partner or are celebrating Single - Awareness Day, it is a good excuse of a day to just indulge in chocolate, buy flowers, and pamper yourself. (But let's be real. That should be everyday right?) To celebrate, I baked around 50 sugar cookies in the shape of X's, O's, and hearts. I forgot to take pictures but I wore a white eyelet dress from H&M and a red cropped sweater (I can't remember the brand) on top with some plain black Keds. Then my dad bought chocolate covered strawberries. That and dark chocolate are my weakness.
For such an occasion, I painted my nails with my most feminine polish, COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in Peaches & Cream 125. These pictures don't do the polish justice for the color is outstanding and such a lovely shade of peach, hence the name "Peaches & Cream."

PRICE: 4.5/5
Since this is the first nail polish I have ever bought with my own money, I cannot compare it to any other polishes. I got it for about $4 at Target so the price isn't too shabby.

COLOR: 5/5
I love this color. Love love love it. It is so flattering and it seems as if it is the only shade of pink that looks decent on my nails. If you are hesitant to wear flashy shades of pink or pink in general, I recommend this color strongly. This nail polish is an intro into the world of pinks for the not-so-girly. The color is not too overpowering and very feminine. The lasting power of the product is good since it lasted me a good week or so. (But it chipped a bit at the beginning because I have to use my nails for everything.) If you are not clawing off anything, the color should last for quite some time.

APPLICATION: 4.5/5
I am no manicure expert (I have not even gone to a nail salon for a manicure/pedicure.) but based on own experience, I feel as if this polish takes longer to dry. When I painted my nails for the first time with this polish, I touched my hair because I thought my nails were dry and made a mess of things. However, application is generally smooth and the slow drying can work to your advantage in case you mess up.

OVERALL: 4.6/5
Overall, I liked this product quite a bit. It was a bit hard to paint with but then again, I'm no pro. I definitely recommend this nail polish for the color and ultimately, that's what matters the most.

I hope you found this review helpful. Thank you so much for reading!

Theresa
