I've been busy lately but today was my last midterm for a while so I spent that time just relaxing and eating some sweets (ahh I wish I could have taken proper pictures, they were really yummy) and drinking some tea. I'm hesitant to write on this blog because I've been gone for a while now but I'll try my best to keep blogging.
Anyway, I have a review for you all! I recently bought a new mascara because 1) I wanted to treat myself for working hard lately and 2) my old mascara dried up and I have no lashes. I just randomly picked up the MAYBELLINE Lash Sensational from Walgreens so I did not know what to expect.
The old mascara I used had a drier formula (COVERGIRL Clump Crusher) so I was surprised when I discovered how wet this mascara was. In a way, I feel as if this is my first mascara since my old one didn't really do much for my lashes in the first place.
Honestly, compared to my regular straight and short lashes, one coat is enough for me. I have lashes now~

This mascara is definitely buildable but you might have to deal with a bit of clumping.
PROS:
- doesn't clump much (for the first coat that is)
- lengthens
- fairly cheap (~$8 - 9)
- waterproof, long lasting
CONS:
- has a chemical smell (but that's not really a con in my book since I don't care about my lashes smelling sweet or anything)
- the brush is kind of big and you can get some mascara on your eyelids
- difficult to remove
- flakes a bit
- can start to look spidery if you apply too many layers (I like to stick to one coat)
OVERALL: 4.3/5
I'm not exactly a mascara junkie but I'm liking this one so far. I will have to say that removing it is a pain but I guess that's the price you have to pay to get a waterproof mascara. My advice is to gently rub your eyelashes between your fingers with your makeup remover because it sticks on really well and if you're not careful, you might take some lashes out
But I'm satisfied with this product. It's decent and it might not be the perfect mascara for me but it gets the job done. Even my boyfriend liked how my lashes looked when I put on the mascara for the first time so yay pretty lashes
I can't stop looking at my lashes to be honest lol this is the first time my lashes have ever been this visible *flutter flutter* I think I could just get away with this mascara without putting on eyeliner to be honest. Just keep in mind that this mascara is not a volumizing mascara; it only lengthens.
